Karla & Jack: The Wedding
Karla & Jack were married earlier this month at Vista Optimist Club in Vista. What a hidden gem! This place was great! They have a great outdoor patio area for guests to enjoy! Karla & Jack decided that they wanted to see each other before the ceremony which gave us plenty of time to head over to South Ponto Beach for some pictures. What a perfect day!!!!!!
They have a great wedding with an even better reception to follow! There was a guest that did the entire dance routine to Beyonce's "Single Ladies" song PERFECTLY and the highlight of the night for me was the dance-off amongst three of the male guests!
Karla & Jack: You guys are awesome! We had such a great time at your wedding and your family and friends are AMAZING!!!! We hope nothing but the best for the two of you!!!

It was the perfect La Jolla afternoon for this shoot. The lovely Leslie from the 30th anniversary party we did back in November set us up with this shoot! Leslie let me know that the family has no family portraits of them! Now we have TONS for them!!!
We LOVE, LOVE shooting family/child sessions!!! It gives us the chance to capture some amazing family memories!!!!

Angela & Elliott: The Wedding
Angela & Elliott were married at Rose Creek Cottage with the reception at Marina Village. This couple is just amazing!!! They have two gorgeous kids!!!!! They are the most laid back and fun loving couple! You can tell that their friends and families love them to death!
They walked down the aisle to Trav and I's first dance song and then danced to one of my favorite Jack Johnson songs! They had one of the best centerpieces I have seen!!! Each table had a different board game as their centerpiece. This was really cute but also kept the guests of all ages entertained throughout!
Angela & Elliott: We are so happy that we met you two!! We wish you both nothing but the best!!!

One Year Anniversary in Hawaii!!!!
We recently celebrated our one year wedding anniversary in Hawaii. As some of you may recall, I (Ann) am originally from Hawaii (born and raised) and moved to San Diego about 12 years ago. We visit Hawaii often so figured "Why not?!" I still have tons of family and friends in Hawaii so it was perfect!! We packed our things and brought one of our closest friends (and best man) along with us!!
We had our must-do list ready to go:
Matsumoto's Shave Ice: Check
Beach: Check
LOTS of local food: Check
Below are some pictures from our amazing vacation.
*The first picture is of a Hawaiian Sea Turtle that was sunning itself on the beach. One of the most awesome (and biggest) things I had seen.
*The second shot is of the Arizona Memorial. What an amazing piece of history...while taking it all in we couldn't believe that there was still oil from the ship in the water.
*The third shot is from this Buddhist temple that we visited. They had the biggest Koi pond we have ever seen. We were able to feed the fish and it was a feeding frenzy!!!
*The next shot is of random sea shells and sand on the North Shore of the island. It's amazing how the water/sand can change from beach to beach.
*The last two shots are of Trav and I. Well, the first one is of us! The last one is our initials T & A (Yes, I know, I know....T& A tee hee) T & A was a HUGE joke at our wedding so thought..why not leave our mark in Hawaii on our one year anniversary!!! (If you don't get it...email me)
Although vacation was wonderful, it's great to be back!!!!!!
