Ashley & Bobby: The Wedding

Ashley & Bobby were married at the Mission Beach Woman's Club. We knew from their engagement session that we were going to have a blast at this wedding. Their family and friends were great and you could really feel all the love in the room. Ashley and Bobby gave us plenty of time to shoot pictures of them which really makes a HUGE difference, it also gives the couple a chance to spend some alone time together before the reception. Everything was perfect from Ashley's dress, to the beautiful flowers, the delicious cake and the mood of the evening.

Even though we have shot and attended many weddings there are some that still touch my heart (Ann speaking here). The true kindness and respect that Ashley & Bobby share with each other is just amazing. I have to admit that there were a few moments at the wedding where I had to hold back some tears! (he he)

Ashley & Bobby: We truly feel honored to have spent the day with you guys! Thank you for allowing us in on some very intimate moments. We can't wait for you guys to see the rest!

Julienne & Dallas Engagment Session

We spent a busy afternoon at Balboa Park with Julienne & Dallas for their engagement session. Considering how many people were around we were able to find some secluded areas to shoot at. We can't wait for the wedding later this year!!!

EXCITING NEWS!!!!

We are now offering albums!!! As of now, we currently have two different types of albums.

The first album is a 10x13 modern album (shown below). This is PERFECT for your wedding day favorites. We LOVE this album!!!

The other album we are offering is a guest book. The guest book allows all your guests to sign the book (like a normal guest book) but this one includes some of your favorite shots from your engagement session. We don't have a sample of this one yet.

We have added one additional package that includes an album. The albums are also available to purchase separately at anytime.

Desiree & Stefano at La Jolla Cove

We spent one of the hottest days of the year (I swear!) with Desiree & Stefano. They contacted us for a family portrait session. Desiree brought her parents as well as her cute puppy Cupcake! They were troopers and handled the heat like pros!

Family Fun at Balboa Park!

We were able to spend a Sunday morning with Mike, Rhea and their SUPER CUTE son Nate at Balboa Park for a fun family session! We got their early enough that it was almost empty when we started. We had so much fun trying to keep up with Nate! Rhea is also 8 months pregnant and was a trooper walking all over the park with us.

Mike & Rhea: We had such a great time spending the morning with you guys and can't wait for you guys to see all the pictures! We can't wait to meet the new addition to the family!!!

Apple Picking Fun in Julian!!

We decided to head up to Julian for some apple picking (and eating)!!! We have never been apple picking and decided it would be fun to have some of our best friends Owen and Leilani join! Trav reseached all the U-Pick places and decided on Apple Starr Orchards (Phone: (949) 230-7269 & Address: 1020 Julian Orchards Drive, Julian, CA 92036) They are a certified organic orchard and have over 1000 apple and pear trees.

We had a blast!!!! Who knew that apple picking could be so fun! I am sure that the company that joined us had a lot to do with that! They had all different sorts of apples that were ready to eat right off the tree!

We stopped for some lunch in Julian which was PACKED!! It was Apple Festival weekend and just crazy packed!!! I would highly recommend taking little ones for some apple picking!! Tons of fun and kids would love it!!

I included some pictures below: First two are some of the apples we saw one is of some baby apples. (NOTE: Those don't taste so good :)) The collage is of the four of us just messing around with apples on our heads!! Yes! We are dorks!!! The last picture is us towards the end of the day relaxing on the rocking chairs at Dudley's!

Sheila & Mark: The Wedding

Sheila & Mark were married at Rose Creek Cottage in Pacific Beach and had their reception at Jasmine Restaurant. We had a great time with them from beginning to end. We had a break between the ceremony and reception and had a chance to run over to Balboa Park for some additional pictures with Sheila & Mark and the entire wedding party. Since we had so much additional time we were able to have some FUN and get some great shots!!!!

One of our favorite group shots is the third picture down. Check out Mark's brother on the right hand side of the picture. We asked everyone to jump and he did!!!!
