Arson Academy!!!

We had the opportunity to shoot the band Arson Academy (www.myspace.com/arsonacademy) on Saturday. We got there a little early and were able to get the last 20 minutes or so of their rehearsal then we headed off to an empty parking structure at SDSU for some band shots.

Happy 2010!

I know I am a few days late but wanted to wish everyone a Happy 2010! Ann Sumi Photography had a great 2009 and can only hope for the same in 2010!!!

In 2010 I have set a goal to blog more...much much more... maybe not a post a day but hopefully at least a few times a week!

Katie & Ryan::: Coronado Community Center Wedding

We were so lucky to have Katie & Ryan as our last wedding of 2009! They were married at Coronado Community Center in Coronado. What a great place to get married right on the water and right across the street from the Hotel Del ! They did most details themselves and it turned out perfect.

We love when couples are able to relax and have a good time during the day. Katie and Ryan were pros at this. They are two of the funnest couples we have met, constantly making us laugh.

Katie & Ryan: Congratulations to you guys again! We had such a great time at your wedding and hope you have a wonderful honeymoon in Florida in January.

First Boudoir Session!

Rewind back to earlier this year....I get a call from one of our past brides wanting to surprise her husband on their first anniversary with a boudoir session and album! I have to admit that at first I was a little nervous and even arriving for the shoot that day I had some butterflies in my stomach but once I saw her it all went away!

It was definitely all worth it in the end when she was able to give her husband the album she got for him. A gift he will NEVER forget!

Erin & Chris:: Wedding Teasers

To say that this wedding was fun is a complete understatement! From the moment we met these two we knew it was gonna be an amazing day!!! They did not disappoint. You could literally feel all the love in the room with Erin & Chris and all their family and friends. The bridal party was literally up for anything and wanted more pictures as a group then any other wedding we have shot.

They were married at Marina Village on a perfect November day! The girls worked hard all morning to get all the flowers done and I have to say they did an great job!! We love when couples decide that they want a "first look." A first look is when the couple decide that they want to see each other before the ceremony and we set up an extremely intimate setting for them to do this. These pictures always come out AMAZING!

Erin & Chris: You guys are so much fun! Thank you so much for choosing us to be with you throughout the day! We had a blast!
