Ashley & Bobby

We were lucky enough to spend last Sunday afternoon with Ashley & Bobby and their A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E son Cameron at La Jolla Shores. Trav and I both had so much fun with them that we want to become permanent members of the family! We cannot wait for their wedding day!

I also wanted to share with everyone the email Ashley sent right after the shoot. We LOVE working with kids and especially with their amazing parents!

"Ann & Travis, I just wanted to thank you both for an amazing shoot yesterday! We had so much fun getting to be with each other and have fun together, we haven't been able to be alone and just walk around and talk since Cameron was born...so thank you! We are excited to see the pictures and work more with both of you on our special day!! Thank you again, Ashley"

Shannel & Scott Engagment at Balboa Park!

We were lucky enough to spend a perfect summer Sunday afternoon with the beautiful Shannel & Scott at Balboa Park. What a GREAT couple!! We had so much fun with these two! Shannel was such a trooper, half way through the shoot her adorable shoes gave her a blister on her heel, but she stuck it out and jumped with us from spot to spot to spot!

Having a couple like Shannel & Scott really makes me realize how much I LOVE getting to know couples! Such a fun loving and great couple to work with. We can't wait for the wedding next year!!!

Check out the last picture. We saw the dinosaur shot and with some encouragement we asked her to act like a dinosaur which she totally did!!! Scott was supposed to be "scared" of her! tee hee!

Jack Johnson!!

So anyone who knows Trav and I knows that we are HUGE Jack Johnson fans. (Some may even say I am obsessed) ;) So, we headed down to Cricket Wireless Amphitheater with a good friend and Trav's cousins to see him perform. We had PIT tickets so we were up close and personal!!!!

Jack did not disappoint! What an AMAZING show. All the fans were laid back and mellow- much like the music heard. An awesome night!!! He performed new and old and sounds even better in person!!!

Regardless if you like Jack's music or not (How could you not at least like Better Together, Taylor or Bubble Toes?) He's an extraordinary activist for the environment. He's actually one of few celebrities that chooses to make a difference. At the very minimum you have to respect that! He is a true inspiration in every way!

We decided not to take our HUGE cameras to the concert and used our friends Sony point and click..Here are some pictures to enjoy!!

P.S. Yes that is a "Save Trestles" shirt that he is wearing...if you don't know what it's referring to google it! :)
